Our student, Angela showed the children how their whakapapa could be represented through a fern frond, with each member of the family taking their place on the stalk of the frond. A search of the environment led to the discovery of the Koru in many places in the kindergarten.
The Koru; what a nice carving that would make....or perhaps a clay moulding session with everyone getting realy sticky and dirty.
