Dear Steve


This morning Alex asked if she could write to Steve. These are her words .... Dear Steve, what are you up to? I miss you . It is my birthday tomorrow. I am going to go to school next year. Love Alex

    Dear Alex, I miss you too and all my friends at BDK that love making things.

    I have a job that is more like play than work. I get to meet so many other children just like you, that love to make things too. We are making a treehouse in one kindergarten; a castle in another; batmans car will soon get its wheels; cinderella's carriange needs only a set a doors; the traditional whare is going to be a challenge and I have no idea how we are to going to make a taniwha post box.

    ...but you know what, I'll stop worrying and just get back to playing cos if these children are anything like you, we will do it, (yes we can!!!!...as Bob would say).
