That was the question that was asked in the book? It is always a question that evokes different responses in the children as they develop their working theories. We are always careful not to give the children the answer as this does not encourage them to explore the theories further. As we had an abundance of balloons left after our Halloween celebrations yesterday we decided to pop the balloons under the upturned table then see how many children could stand on the upturned table before the balloons popped. I wonder how many children there are on the table?

ReplyDeleteThis was such a great idea!! I loved seeing the looks on all the kids' faces as they jumped on the table, and when the balloons finally started popping - there was surprise, excitement, and a little bit of fear and then loads of giggles at the end!!!
