Daniel's taniwha
Daniel wrote and narrated this story after deciding to sew a taniwha. He said that he had done some sewing at his old kindergarten ... Papakowhai kindergarten. Daniel rang his Mum and asked her to bring in the cat that he had made previously. Can you see it in the background?
Ryan's scooter
Ryan often has clear ideas about what he wants to do ... and this day was no exception, he wanted to make a scooter. After rummaging through the wood he chose the pieces for his project. This is the result of a morning's concentrated work. Search as we might we couldn't find a set of wheels, however Ryan was not deterred. The next day the scooter arrived back at kindergarten for minor repairs. Again Ryan worked with focus and commitment. Mahi pai, good work Ryan.
