Building a fire
Oh, what a hive of activity there was this morning as the group went about collecting any thing they could find to build a fire. As the pile grew there was much anticipation about the fire lighting. Now, we might be into quite a bit of risk taking at Botany Downs kindergarten BUT lighting a fire under the climbing frame, on the fence line was never going to be a go ... even when the BDK fire crew arrived with containers of water. Just as well our children have the best imaginations in the world because that just what they had to use today.

Beyblade Boys
We have a bit of a Beyblade craze going on at the moment. What has impressed us most is the way the children share the beyblades and how they work together to form their own arenas.
