Recycling
As some of you may know we have been challenging the Manukau City Council over recycling. They class us a business even though we are a not for profit organisation. Thanks to Councillor Jamie-Lee Ross we have won the battle and our recycling rubbish will be collected for free from October.
Our kindergarten swap with Whiteacres Kindergarten
What great fun we had today. Off we went on a bus trip to Whiteacres kindergarten ... when we got there the children and teachers from Whiteacres kindergarten hopped on the bus and came to our kindergarten for the morning. We played and played and played. Even though they had lots of things the same there were so many things that are different to. What a big playground they have!

Happy Birthday Maʻam
Happy birthday maʻam was the cry as the Queen arrived with her corgi Pippa. Queenʻs birthday weekend just wouldnʻt be the Queenʻs birthday without a party to celebrate ... so thatʻs just what happened. We dressed for the occasion, practiced the protocols and indulged in some party food. We have to say a special thanks to the parents who entered into the spirit of the day and dressed in their best.
