"I think Katie and Rocky went to the beach on a boat cause when I go to Waiheke beach I have to go in a boat. I think they went for a swim when it was warm.

"I think they played on the playground. I think they played on the swings and on the big slide as well. I think they put their names up on the board before they played. I actually think that one of them took turns at being the teacher. I think they put shells on the house but when they came back from the holiday they quickly put them away. I think they actually made up their own games and played hide and seek".

"Maybe they stayed at their house (just pretending). Maybe they sleeped in their beds in their room. Maybe they had Crunchie Nuts for breakfast and they got dressed. Then they went in their car ... their black car. I think they might have gone to the park. They might have played in the playground. They hopped back in their car and then they played in their home ... with their toys and drawing and basketball and tennis".

"I think Rocky and Katie went to the beach ... Rocky Bay. I think they collected shells and they had a swim on a warm sunny day. then they lied down in the sun with a beach umbrella. I think they had a play in the park. It's a long way to Rocky Bay. I don't know how far cause I have never been there. You've got to go round lots of corners.

Franklin takes a walk

The children just love Franklin. It seems that everything about him is fascinating. On this occasion the children are delighting in taking Franklin for a walk. Where is he heading?

Lets keep on the baby theme

The interest at kindergarten is certainly centred around babies at the moment. Olivia and Jaeyden were amongst a group who. engaged in the bathing of the babies. Logan had an intense interest in changing nappies. His Mum tells us that this is a fascination that he has at home as well. We look forward to seeing the direction that this play takes after the term break.

Visiting Cooper

Today we were lucky enough to go and visit Raelene and her new addition Cooper. What a lovely way to spend some time on a Friday afternoon! Cooper slept for our whole visit and Mum and baby both seemed very relaxed. We look forward to following his progress. in these pictures you can see our new teacher Niki having a cuddle and Raelene and Cooper having a cuddle.
